ON, in sleep mode, or in soft-off mode. This is a reminder that you should shut down the system and unplug the power cable before removing or plugging in any motherboard component. Motherboard overview Before you install the motherboard, study the configuration of your chassis to ensure that the motherboard p5lpl-vm into it.

Support manyal DIMM lightly with your fingers when pressing the retaining clips. Remove the DIMM from the socket. Expansion slots In the future, you may need to install expansion cards.

The speaker allows you to hear system beeps and warnings. Connect the USB module cable to any of these connectors, then install the module to a slot opening at the back of the system chassis.
Do not place jumper caps on the fan connectors! Connect one end of the chassis intrusion sensor or switch cable to this connector. The chassis intrusion sensor or switch sends a high-level signal to this connector when a chassis component is removed or replaced. The system may become unstable or may not boot up if the power is inadequate. Connect the chassis power LED cable to this connector.
Detailed descriptions of the BIOS parameters are also provided. The utility copies the current BIOS file to the floppy disk. Visit the ASUS website www. Save the BIOS file to a bootable floppy disk. Write the BIOS filename on a piece of paper. Restart the system after the utility completes the updating process. The device size should be smaller than 8GB. The BIOS setup screens shown in this section are for reference purposes only, and may not exactly match what you see on your screen.
